Seasons Law Ltd is the data controller for the information you submit through this website.

2. What data we collect

When you request a quote or contact us through this website, we collect the personal information you provide — typically your name, email, phone number and details of the move you'd like a quote for.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiry and generate a quote
• To introduce you to a recommended conveyancing lawyer if you'd like to proceed (the lawyer becomes a separate data controller for the legal work itself)
• To improve our website and quote calculator
• To meet any legal obligations that apply to us

4. Lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry and operating the comparison service) for the enquiry itself, and consent for non-essential cookies such as analytics.

5. Sharing your data

When you submit a quote enquiry, you authorise us to share your contact details and matter details with one of our recommended conveyancing lawyers so they can get in touch with you about your move. We also use trusted service providers (e.g. hosting, transactional email and analytics) to operate the website. We do not sell or rent your data.

6. Retention

We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Once you instruct a recommended lawyer, that lawyer's own retention rules apply to the matter file.

7. Your rights
