These terms govern your use of the PropertyLawyers4You website. They are not a contract for legal services.
1. Our role
PropertyLawyers4You is a quote comparison service for residential conveyancing matters in England and Wales. We generate fixed-fee quotes online and introduce you to a recommended conveyancing lawyer. The legal services are provided by that lawyer under a separate engagement directly with you. PropertyLawyers4You is not itself a regulated law firm and is not a party to that engagement.
2. Use of this website
The information on this website is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal advice. You should not rely on it as a substitute for professional advice in your specific circumstances.
3. Quotes
Any quote generated through our online calculator is indicative and valid for 30 days. The final fee is confirmed by the recommended lawyer in their written client care letter when you instruct them.
4. Introductions to lawyers
Once you accept a quote, we share your enquiry details with the recommended lawyer so they can contact you. From that point onwards, the lawyer is responsible for the legal work and for the engagement they offer you, including their own complaints process.
5. Complaints about this website
If you have a concern about the quote process or this website, please contact us at info@propertylawyers4you.com and we will respond promptly. Complaints about the legal work itself should be raised with the recommended lawyer under the complaints process they provide in their engagement letter.
6. Liability
We work to make sure our quote calculator is accurate, but PropertyLawyers4You is not liable for the legal work performed by the recommended lawyer, which is governed by that lawyer's own engagement terms.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
